Characteristics
- The Maestro likes to cover different scenarios and outcomes of decisions before making a final judgement.
- They believe that whilst it’s very important to have information, making decisions quickly is more important.
- Because they live life with a sense of urgency, they place a lot of value on decisiveness.
- They have a high level of personal accountability, and the strength of character to deal with the outcome of their decisions – whatever it may be.
- They tend to use their intuition to guide their thoughts on the information in front of them.
Beliefs
- They believe that decisiveness is very important in life.
- They are usually mindful of the impact that slow decision-making can have on them and on other people.
Fears
They have a fear of analysis paralysis, and they constantly keep this at the back of their minds when analysing information for a decision.
Justification statement
“Indecisiveness is one of the biggest killers of goals and dreams.”
Strategy for growth
The Maestro’s ability to be decisive is always impressive. It is, however, necessary not to allow their fear of analysis paralysis to drive their decision-making in unhealthy ways. Otherwise, they run the risk of making decisions that are far too impulsive.
All human beings have traits of all the decision types, but we all have a dominant type which we use and rely upon more than the others.
